Memorial Day weekend.  There was a lot of live music in the Austin area, but, most of our favorites were out of town, playing private gigs, or taking a deserved break.  So, we saved our energies for Chicken Sh!t Sunday.  Dobie even got to join us for a while before she went to work.  Ginny's Little Longhorn was packed!  Everyone had a blast.

The only problem with Ginny's on Sunday is that she closes at 8pm.  That's good for her....she deserves the time off!  But, where do you go from there?  We tried The Dallas Nightclub just a little ways up the road.  Somehow, 'canned' music after an afternoon of Dale Watson and the Lonestars just wasn't what we wanted.  When the club switched to all salsa music for the night...we decided it was time give it up.  We walked out and found that Austin was being pounded by a huge thunderstorm...complete with hail.  I went home!  ;)
